I began investing when I was 12 years old.  Being that young, I had no choice but to understand the markets in a simple, straightforward way — no jargon, no complexity, just what actually works.  That early perspective has become my greatest asset in teaching others.

For years, I did everything society told me to do.  I drove three hours a day to college, worked part-time at Tractor Supply, and filled every spare moment with audiobooks about investing, mindset, and building wealth.  I had all the knowledge — but I was stuck.  I felt like I was 'doing everything right'... and going nowhere.

Then one day when I was driving a forklift for my part-time job during college, a line from The Richest Man in Babylon stopped me dead in my tracks: the idea was this... start small, even if it feels useless.  I put some money in my stock account that week and committed to investing $50 every two weeks.  It felt almost laughable at the time.

But those small steps added up.  Eventually, I realized I was earning a dollar a day in dividends — real passive income, without lifting a finger.  That moment changed everything.  If I could make one dollar a day, could I make two?  Five?  Ten?

That's why I built Stock Market Starters and the First Stock Challenge — because you don't need a finance degree, thousands of dollars, or perfect timing.  You just need one path and one win: your first investment.
